POLS 342 Human Rights in the United States

This course is an introduction to human rights advocacy in the United States. Through diverse readings and case studies students will be exposed to the history tools and critiques of the domestic human rights movement as well as the legal and practical challenges of human rights implementation in the United States. The course will also introduce students to a practice-oriented approach to engaging human rights-based strategies.
