DWA 335 Junior Seminar: Theories of Revolution from Africa and the African Diaspora
African theorists have historically integrated theoretical critiques with revolutionary practices. This class will focus on theories pertaining to opposition to colonialism in Africa, as well as in the Caribbean and the United States. Theorists such as Franz Fanon, Steve Biko, Kwame Nkruma, Eric Williams, and Marcus Garvey will be studied. Open only to DWA and Politics majors with junior or senior standing.
