DWA 240 Comparative Revolutions

This course will examine why, how, and when voices of dissent turn into a full-scale revolutionary movement. We will compare and contrast revolutions that have taken place in different social, political, and cultural contexts (e.g. Nicaraguan Revolution, the 1989 Revolutions of Eastern Europe, and the Ukrainian Orange Revolution).
