PHYS 165 Light
An introduction to optics and modern physics for both science and non-science majors. Topics include geometrical optics physical optics waves special relativity wave-particle duality atomic and nuclear physics. Includes one three-hour laboratory per week.
Prerequisite
Algebra and trigonometry or permission of instructor. Not open to students who have completed
PHYS 110 PHYS 115 PHYS 120 or
PHYS 125; or equivalent.
