DCE-7314 SPORTS DIAGNOSTIC IMAGING 1
Diagnostic imaging is a very important aspect of diagnosis and management in the healthcare setting. Sports-injury/trauma is no exception. This course is part one of two courses focusing on imaging of sports related conditions. This course explores common injuries and sports related conditions of the upper extremity through the lens of diagnostic imaging with an emphasis on advanced imaging and correlation to radiography. The course will review and expand on advanced imaging characteristics to develop clinical reasoning skills for imaging modality selection, explore in-depth anatomy on specialized imaging, expose learners to navigation of advanced imaging, and synthesize typical clinical presentation and imaging findings of sports related injuries.
