ECE261 Early Childhood Practicum
Direct work with children mentored by early childhood professionals, faculty guided seminars, and on-going reflection, will enable students to: demonstrate a commitment to the profession and their on-going professional development including introduction to MTEL; use their knowledge of child growth and development to guide their interactions, curricular decisions, and instructional strategies; use a variety of approaches to assess children's growth and learning; collaborate with other adults to achieve their own goals as well as developmental goals for children. (120 hours of fieldwork and 30 hours of seminar)
