CHE104 General Chemistry 2
This course is a continuation of General Chemistry 1. Topics include: intermolecular forces as applied to condensed phases of matter: solids and liquids/acide-base equilibria including hydorlysis and buffers, thermodynamics/enthalp/entropy/Gibbs free energy/link to equilibria, electrochemistry, and other topics as needed. Laboratory work reinforces leccture concepts, and is intended to give students hands-on experience that will help them understand, appreciate, and apply chemical concepts. This course fulfills open, liberal arts and together with CHE 103, laboratory science sequence electives.
