SPL104 Speech and Language Development
A study of the biological, emotional, cognitive, and environmental factors underlying the acquisition and development of speech and language. Special attention is given to phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, and stages of normal development. The course content is enhanced by 10 hours of observation as part of a Level I field placement. (3 hours of lecture per week and 10 hours of observation per semester)
