MAT013 Prealgebra

This course is designed to prepare a student for algebra. It introduces the concept of variables, algebraic expressions, and signed numbers. It reviews operations with fractions, decimals, and percents. Mathematical reasoning, estimating, mathematical vocabulary and solving of applied problems are emphasized throughout the course. This course fulfills no elective requirement.
