NURB 461 Nursing Leadership and Management

(3-0-3) This course provides an overview of leadership and management principles and practices in healthcare environments. This course will explore critical topics such as theoretical foundations, healthcare policy, interprofessional collaboration, evidence-based practice, strategic planning, resource management, systems theory/management, organizational behavior, conflict resolution, person-entered care, and ethical decision-making. This course will emphasize the multifaceted role of nursing leaders and their ability to drive innovation, advocate for clients, promote a culture of safety, and contribute to the advancement of healthcare delivery.
