ESS 108 Physical Geology

(3-2-4) Earth materials, structures, and processes for geology majors and others who wish to take upper division ESS classes. Lab provides hands-on experience in rock and mineral identification and the use and interpretation of topographic and geologic maps. This course satisfies the Level 2 Knowledge NSC requirement for general education.
