BIOL 213 Introduction to Veterinary Microbiology

(2-4-4) Study of bacterial and mycotic agents pathogenic to humans and animals. The collection, isolation, cultivation and identification of pathogenic microorganisms from animals is stressed. Virology, anti-microbial susceptibility tests, serological methods and quality control introduced. Not acceptable for biology majors or minors.
