VET 370 Vet Infectious Diseases I

A study of the clinical aspects of important viral, rickettsial, chlamydial, and mycoplasmal infectious diseases of the dog and cat; with emphasis on clinically relevant aspects of etiology, epidemiology, pathogenesis, clinical findings, diagnosis, pathologic findings, therapy, prevention and public health considerations. The primary objective is to develop a clinical understanding of each disease process and the ability to explain it to a pet owner.
