COMS 420 Analysis of Persuasion

This course examines the foundations of persuasion through theory and practice in multiple contexts: interpersonal relationships, politics, advertising and speaking in diverse contexts. Students will observe, analyze and write about persuasive events as they happen in their everyday lives. This class will help students be better consumers of persuasion as they participate in the communities where they live and work, thus making them better engaged citizens.
