Federal Pell Grants (Pell)

A Federal Pell Grant (Pell) does not have to be repaid. Pell is awarded only to undergraduate students who have not yet earned a bachelor’s degree. The U.S. Department of Education uses federal methodology to determine eligibility.   Pell amounts will fluctuate from year to year based on an applicant’s demonstrated need and the Federal Pell Grant Payment Disbursement Schedules published annually by Congress.
