Manhattanville Scholarships

Manhattanville’s generous aid packages often include annual scholarships from the College. 

Merit Awards

All incoming full-time, first-year and transfer, undergraduate admitted students will automatically be considered for one of the scholarships or awards listed below. Annual renewal of all merit awards is based on students maintaining a minimum grade point average of 2.0 and enrolling in a minimum of twelve (12) credits each fall and spring semester.

Castle Scholars Honors Program

 

Entry into the Castle Scholars Honors Program is highly competitive. At the time an acceptance decision to the College is received, eligible students will be offered an annual merit scholarship of $2,000 and a spot in the program. Additional information can be found here.

Community College Honors Scholarship

Transfer Students that have been active members of a two-year college honors program or honors society at a two-year institution, such as Phi Theta Kappa and Alpha Beta Gamma, will be offered an annual merit scholarship of $2,000.

Fine & Performing Arts Scholarships

Manhattanville College supports students with an interest in pursuing a career in the fine and performing arts. Merit scholarship opportunities are available for students pursuing Dance, Music Technology, Musical Theatre, Studio Art, and Theatre. Opportunity Awards

At Manhattanville, we are champions of social justice and equity. Our opportunity award programs reward students who want to lead, serve, and support their communities.

Sister Mary T. Clark Community Service Award Program

Participants in the Sister Mary T. Clark Community Service Award Program participate in thirty (30) hours of service-learning each semester and give a presentation highlighting their experiences. Students who elect to participate in this program will receive an annual scholarship of $2,000. Additional Information can be found here.

Manhattanville First-Generation Award Program

Manhattanville College identifies a first-generation student as someone whose parents did not complete a four-year college degree. These first-year, first-time college students are awarded an annual scholarship of $2,000 and have agreed to participate in the MVILLE FIRST college success program that encourages first-year student involvement with student life, career services, advising, and mentorship. Manhattanville Achievement Program


The Manhattanville Achievement Program offers an opportunity for students with demonstrated need to reside on the Manhattanville College campus and enroll for full-time, degree-seeking status without a significant financial burden. This scholarship program ensures minimal cost of attendance and includes a broad range of services including academic, personal, and career counseling. Students must meet specific financial criteria in order to be considered for entry. This is a highly selective program and only available to first-time, first-year students.

Partnership Award Programs

Westchester Community College Half Tuition Scholarship Program

Students who complete an associate’s degree from Westchester Community College will automatically be offered a half-tuition scholarship to enroll at Manhattanville College.

Valiant Legacy Award

Due to the generosity of Manhattanville College Alumni, we are pleased to offer students whose parent, sibling, or grandparent is an alum of Manhattanville College a $2,000 annual award. This opportunity is open to first-time, first-year or transfer students who will be full-time and degree-seeking.

Sacred Heart Scholarship

A half tuition scholarship will be awarded to first-time, first-year students who graduate from a school that was founded by the Sacred Heart order. List of Eligible Schools.

Professional Development Schools Scholarship

A half tuition scholarship will be awarded to students who graduate from a school district that is affiliated with the Manhattanville College School of Education. Students must be in good academic standing and attend one of the following school districts: Bedford, Elmsford, Greenburgh, New Rochelle, Peekskill, Port Chester, Ossining, or White Plains.

 

Scholarship awards will not be reinstated by the Office of Financial Aid if students are suspended, do not meet satisfactory academic progress, or fulfill the requirements stated within each program.
