Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) in Creative Writing

Program Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university
  • 3.0 GPA from previous college course work
  • Official transcripts from all colleges attended 
  • A 2 -3 page typewritten autobiographical essay describing your educational and career experiences. The essay should be creative and reflective in nature and be responsive to the following questions:
    • How and why did you decide to pursue this program?
    • How can this program further your personal and/or professional goals?
    • What special abilities, personal qualities, and life experiences do you bring to the program?
  • A 10-12 page sample of your writing including at least 5 pages of prose. A combination of separate writing samples is acceptable (poetry, essay, short story, novel excerpt, etc.)
  • A letter of recommendation
  • A completed and signed Manhattanville application

Master of Science (M.S.) - Business Programs

The Business Programs at Manhattanville College include the following:

  • Master of Science in Business Leadership
  • Master of Science in Finance

  • Master of Science in Marketing Communication Management
  • Master of Science in Sport Business and Entertainment Management

 

Master of Science (M.S.)  Business Programs

There is rolling admissions for the MS Business Programs. There are several entry points for the programs throughout the year (fall, spring, summer).

Program Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university
  • 3.0 GPA from previous college course work

The application process is as follows:

  • Completed and signed application.
  • Official transcripts from all colleges attended.
  • A personal essay of 500-750 words that responds to the following:
    •  How and why did you decided to pursue this program
    • Why the selected academic program is a good match for your future goals
    • What you as a candidate can bring to our classroom
    • What special skills, leadership abilities, volunteer or other life experiences make you a good overall fit for the selected program
  • Resume inclusive of business and educational experience
  • Two (2) letter of recommendation from employers or educators who can attest to your potential for graduate-level work.
 

 

Health Sciences Advanced Certificate

Admission Requirements

  • Earned undergraduate (B.A. or B.S.)/4 year degree
  • Minimum Undergraduate cumulative GPA of 2.5
  • Two Letters of Recommendation
  • Personal Statement
  • Submission of Official Transcripts from all undergraduate institutions attended
  • Submission of Application

Master of Science (M.S.) in Biomedical Science

Program Admission Criteria Requirements:

  • Earned undergraduate degree (B.A. or B.S.) from an accredited institution
    • Bachelor's degree must be in a related field- BA/ BS in Biology, the Life Sciences, or a related field (e.g.- biochemistry, environmental science, chemistry, physics, etc.), or completion of the standard pre-health requirements (Biology, Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Physics).
  • Minimum Undergraduate cumulative GPA of 3.0 0 or minimum undergraduate cumulative GPA of 2.5 along with minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 in at least four biomedical science graduate courses whilst enrolled in the PBPH program at Manhattanville College. 
  • Two Letters of Recommendation
  • Personal Statement
  • Submission of Official Transcripts from all undergraduate institutions attended
  • Submission of Application

 

Current Manhattanville Post-Bac Pre-Health students should include a copy of their Manhattanville College transcript.
