M.Ed in Education Entrepreneurship

This degree combines core courses in Education, including human development, ethics, and multicultural perspectives, with core Business courses including marketing and analytical and financial tools.  Electives allow students to individualize their programs to their specific areas of interest within Education and Business.

This program is aimed at individuals with an entrepreneurial and creative bent who may already be working in Education or Business or not and who do not intend to be classroom teachers in the traditional mold, yet who have a desire to improve education-focused institutions and/or to be self-employed. It is designed for those interested in working in or developing their own businesses related to education, for example, tutoring, consulting, counseling, early childhood centers/day care, learning centers, publishing, camps, foundations, and other non-profit organizations related to education.

This program does not lead to NYS teacher certification.
