PSY 2002 Developmental Psychology: Early Through Late Adolescence
This course covers the existing evidence on systematic, stable changes that occur from age 10 through 18+ years. We will study the current theories about development and then proceed to examine what current research can tell us about adolescents' capabilities, changes in these capabilities that occur over time, influences of the environment on development (including parents, peers, school), and influences of adolescents on their own environments and development. Prerequisite: PSY 2001 Developmental Psychology: Infancy through Late Childhood
