Applied Accounting, Associate of Applied Science

The two-year program in Applied Accounting is designed to prepare students interested in pursuing careers as bookkeepers, junior accountants in business, industry and government; accounts receivable or accounts payable clerks; and other similar accounting positions.

Emphasis is placed on internal accounting principles and procedures as they relate to external reporting.

The student will be awarded an Associate of Applied Science Degree, One Semester Certificate or a One-Year Certificate in Accounting upon completion of course requirements.
