INDS 218 The World Runs on Processes
Aprocess can be defined as a series of actions taken in order to achieve a result. This result can be the production of a good in a manufacturing plant, a tourist site or the movement of people in a city. In this interim abroad course, we will explore how these processes are developed from multiple lenses, which can include, but not limited to: engineering, sustainability, cultural, sociotechnical and economic. This exploration will occur through a mixture of lectures, seminars and on-site visits of both technical companies and cultural sites in a particular part of the world. [GM2, V]
