CHEM 4481 ADVANCED INORGANIC CHEMISTRY

Properties of elements and compounds are explored based on quantum chemistry. Using group theory, (1) construct Molecular Orbital diagrams, (2) perform vibrational analyses, (3) predict IR, Raman and UV-vis spectra, and (4) explain properties and mechanisms. (3 hr. lecture)
