CHEM 1083 CHEMISTRY I

A thorough discussion of the fundamental principles of general and inorganic chemistry such as atomic structure, ionic and covalent bonding, chemical calculation, thermodynamics and gasses. Mathematical relationships and problem-solving are stressed. It is essential that the student have competence in elementary algebra. (3 hr. lec. / 3 hr. lab. / 1 hr. recitation)
