THE 3200 CREATIVE DRAMA
The course will present the skills and methods needed for leading theatre exercises with children to achieve both theatre-related learning goals and objectives across the curriculum. Lesson plans will be developed and tested for creative movement, pantomime, improvisation, narrative pantomime, and story dramatization. Additional creative drama strategies will be introduced, such as puppetry, masks, and reader's theatre. Includes the history of creative drama and pioneers who shaped the field.
