GD 3230 COPYWRITING FOR ADVERTISING

COURSE #: GD 3230 SEMESTER HOURS: THREE (3) PREREQ: ENG 1020 or ENG 1030, GE 2025, GD 3220 COURSE TYPE: Required for BFA: Graphic Design, Advertising Emphasis; elective for all others ENROLLMENT LIMIT: 18 A studio/lecture course developing copywriting in advertising. The fundamentals of writing will be primarily for print, as well as radio, TV, and the web. Students will create advertisement with a visual and verbal component. Emphasis will be on the copywriting and design necessary to create advertisements, building on prior knowledge of strategy and concept formulation. Supply fees and laptop required.
