EC 5111 DESIGNING AND MANAGING CLASSROOM ENVIRONMENTS FOR EARLY CHILDHOOD SPECIAL EDUCATION

Students explore the policies and procedures for identifying children with special needs and understanding the laws relevant to teaching this group of children (Disabilities Act Amendments). Students learn how to appropriately assess student learning and implement differentiated instruction to address all learning needs in the classroom. Required: Students in all M.A. program options and P-3 certification programs including Alternate Route Elective: All other graduate students Prerequisite(s): Course in child growth and development or multicultural education, or equivalent experience.
