CJ 5650 RACE, CLASS & GENDER IN CJ
This course is a study of the dimensions of stratification in society and the criminal justice system, particularly stratification on the basis of race, class and gender. The examin- tion will provide a framwork in which comtemporary social issues may be interpreted and analyzed. Through an in-depth study of the many different experiences of diverse groups, the student will gain an appreciation for how race, class and gender effect these experiences. Required
