PSY 1005 HONORS GENERAL PSYCHOLOGY
Introduction to the scientific study of behavior: biological bases of development and behavior, learning, motivation, perception, cognition, personality, abnormal behavior, measurement of behavior, and social behavior. Foundation for those interested in the behavioral sciences of human service occupations. Disciplinary/Interdisciplinary. Distribution Requirement in Social Sciences. Can be substituted for PSY 1000. Credit may not be received for both PSY 1000 and PSY 1005 PREREQUISITES ENTERING FRESHMAN AND TRANSFER STUDENTS OR CURRENT KEAN STUDENTS with less than 15 credits: High School GPA 3.5 and immediate placement into a college level composition class and permission of instructor. TRANSFER STUDENTS: Minimum overall GPA of 3.5 of 15 transfer credits and permission of instructor.
