Graduate level laboratory-intensive course.ýBiological approach to the study of RNA proteins,ýand cells with emphasis on current physiologicalýprinciples relating structure to function, geneýexpression, cell communication and intracellularýtrafficking. Lab exercises include cellularýbiotechniques to purify and characterize mRNA,ýproteins and assess physiological activity inýliving cells.
