PAS 5100 PA PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE ONE
This introductory course will orient the student to the role of the physician assistant (PA) student and clinically practicing PA and is the first course in a series designed to address the professional, ethical, social, and practical aspects of PA practice. Emphasis of this course is on the history and development of the profession and current trends in PA practice and healthcare in general. Concepts of professionalism including academic and clinical integrity, ethics, responsibility, team-based care and appropriate conduct will be introduced.
