NURS 5501 SCHOOL NURSING I
This course facilitates the development of school nurse competencies through exploration of the principles and trends in evidence-based nursing practice, with a specific focus on the National Association of School Nurses (NASN) Framework for 21st Century School Nursing Practice. Includes 2 field observation experiences in special education. Required for School Nurse Certification program.
Prerequisite: Admissions to School Nurse Certification Program NURS*3010 & NURS*3200 (or equivalent transfer courses)
