CED 7975 ADVANCED CAREER COUNSELING
This course provides a comprehensive study of career counseling and development across the life span with an emphasis on life roles, family, gender, and cultural issues. Decision-making, leadership, and advocacy skills are integrated into a case study approach to address lifestyle needs for work, education, and leisure. Students will increase their career assessment, interpretation, and counseling skills by working with university students in a clinic setting. Occupational trends and technology tools will be addressed. REQUIRED: Matriculation in Doctoral Program
