PSYD 8021 DISSERTATION SUPERVISION III
This course consists of work between student and dissertation chair, based on an approved Institutional Review Board application, to begin data collection and develop a database. Graded on a credit granted (CG) or credit not granted (NC) basis. The doctoral dissertation is intended to help students develop the skills necessary to become informed consumers of the psychological literature and apply these skills in the production of an orginal and independent scholarly product. The dissertation project also provides students the opportunity to further enhance their critical thinking and provides an opportunity to deepen knowledge and thought about a partcular area of interest relevant to the practice of school and/or clinical psychology. PREREQ: Successful completion of PSYD 8011: Dissertation Supervision II ENROLLMENT LIMIT: 12 COURSE TYPE: Doctoral Level: Required for PSYD students in the School-Clinical Psychology program
