The Kean University Writing Center (KUWC) supports the diverse community of writers who make up the student body, faculty, and staff. The KUWC fosters best practices in the teaching of writing across the disciplines, and serves as a center for writing research. Appointments for 50 minute on-site sessions are scheduled using Tutor-Trac and can be made on-line, in person, or over the phone.
Remote on-line access to writing support services is possible through WC-Online. Students can schedule an appointment and discuss their writing with a coach via chat, or a coach can review their writing and return it to them with comments and suggestions. Presentations and workshops are offered to help share knowledge of writing with a wide variety of students in the classroom.
