EDMT 130 Technical Drawing
(Contact Hours: 8) This course explores principles of orthographic projection and design using manual sketching and formal 2D CAD for designers and engineers. Topics include sketching, orthographic projection, auxiliary views, section views, dimensioning, tolerancing, threaded fasteners, assemblies, schematics, and basic engineering design. Students will work in teams for a design project. Brief exposure to 3D parametric design will be given. Minimum benchmarks will be enforced.
