Physical Education, AA
Physical education is the study of maintaining the human body through physical exercise and motor development. The study encourages psychomotor learning in a play or movement exploration setting to promote health.
This program is designed for students who intend to transfer to a four-year college or university. Requirements may be updated prior to the start of the Fall 2022 semester. Students completing this program should consult a counselor or advisor to develop their degree plan and for registration advice.

Transfer Notes: The physical education major is one of several options for teacher certification. Some university bachelor’s degree programs offer dual teacher certification in both physical education and health education. All education bachelor’s degree programs have additional admission requirements, such as grade point average, test scores, and volunteer experience.
