BREW 200 Taproom Management & Service

(Contact Hours: 4) This course will provide students the hands-on experience required to manage a taproom and provide service within the brewing industry. Students will explore the role of management within a taproom through the upkeep of the draft systems and their use, monitoring of tap lists, social media, beverage and food offerings, taproom staff, and point of sale interfaces. Students will also practice proper alcohol policy adherence for staff and guests as well as comprehend the meaning and exhibition of quality service to customers. PREREQUISITE: Successful completion of BREW 140 and BREW 170 is REQUIRED.
