BREW 100 Introduction to Brewing

(Contact Hours: 3) This course is an introductory level brewing class that will focus on the operations side of the brewing industry. The course will start with an introduction to all ingredients, the entire brewing process, and the technology utilized. Students will be expected to take and pass the ServSafe Alcohol class before handling and sampling any final products. Operations will be emphasized throughout this course, with brew labs integrated regularly. Minimum benchmarks will be enforced.
