ECO 746 Alternative Economic Systems

This course will focus on comparing capitalism as an economic systems with various alternatives. We will examine various alternative economic systems both historically and theoretically. Topics will include market socialism, central planning, decentralized planning, cooperatives, the soviet system, the ongoing evolutions of the Chinese economy, and 21st century socialism.
