SPA 321 Spanish Literature I

This course traces the development of Spanish literature until 1700 with special emphasis on major literary movements and the historical, political, economic, and social contexts in which literary works were produced. Selected readings include representative authors and genres, as well as issues of gender, race, ethnicity, and class, among others. The course is taught in Spanish.
