PSY 819 Dissociation and Trauma

This course reviews issues arising from inter-connections among trauma, memory, and dissociation. Impact of trauma on family systems and reliability of memory for trauma are studied, as well as treatment and forensic questions such as: 'false memory syndrome', diminished responsibility, and competence to stand trial.
