PSY 726 Mental Health Issues in Policing

The focus of the course is on using mental health principles, re- search and clinical experience to gain an in-depth understanding of important topics within the field of policing including: the personality of police officers, police stress, police suicide, police selection, counseling techniques, and services to police officers and agencies.
