PSY 806 Cults

This course will discuss the definition of cults and place the development of cults in a historical perspective. Cult leaders and cult members will be studied from psychodynamic and behavioral theories. Individual, family, and group treatment approaches will be considered. In addition, research issues and forensic perspectives will be discussed.
