Advanced Placement

Advanced Placement (AP) Exams are standardized, college-level examinations developed and administered by the College Board. AP Exams are designed to measure a student's mastery of college-level content in a specific subject. Exams are offered in a wide range of disciplines. Credit will be granted for courses in American history, biology, chemistry, computer science, economics, English, European history, French, French literature, German, Latin, mathematics, music theory, physics, political science, psychology, Spanish, and statistics to those students whose test scores on the Advanced Placement Test of the College Examination Board (AP) indicate superior knowledge of the subject matter. A complete list of tests, minimum scores, and course equivalents are available in the Center for Success and the Registrar Office.
