Transfer Credit Policy
Students can typically transfer up to ten (10) credits of coursework from a previous institution into the PhD in Sacred Theology program at Franciscan University, provided that all of the following conditions are met:

The credits were awarded within the last ten (10) years;

The class(es) for which those credits were earned are substantially similar in academic level and content to the class(es) in the PhD in Sacred Theology program at Franciscan University for which the credits are being transferred;

The transfer of those credits has been approved in writing by the Director of the program;

The credits being transferred were not earned as part of a degree that has already been awarded.
Any exceptions to these conditions require the approval of the PhD Committee.
