BS Biology (Franciscan); PharmD (Duquesne)
After completing three years at Franciscan university and a successful year at Duquesne School of Pharmacy, the student is awarded a B.S. in Biology from Franciscan University. The conferral of the Doctor of Pharmacy degree occurs after successful completion of all coursework at Duquesne and by recommendation of the Duquesne University Mylan School of Pharmacy.

Students will take BIO 333 Microbiology to satisfy the Molecular & Cellular electives.
Organismal & Evolution electives: BIO 230 Comparative Anatomy, BIO 235 Field Biology, BIO 236 Ecology, BIO 237 Tropical Marine Biology, BIO 301 Animal Behavior, or BIO 321 Evolution.
Pharmacy Calculations (2 credits) must be completed the summer before matriculating to the Mylan School of Pharmacy.
