BIO 420 Molecular Neurobiology
Covers processes at the genetic and protein level that are important for the structure and function of the brain. It gives a foundational understanding of molecular mechanisms involved in intracellular signaling, gene regulation, ion channels, neurotransmitters and their receptors, synaptic transmission, synaptic plasticity, and neural networks. Further this course also covers various neural disorders at the molecular level providing an interface between molecular neuroscience and clinical neuroscience.
