Digital Broadcasting and Production Concentration
Assessment Learning Goals
At the completion of the Broadcasting and Production major, the graduate is able to:
- Understand the relationship between digital and analog media technologies, society, ethics, and faith.
- Utilize professional knowledge, tools, and techniques to (a) manage media projects and personnel and (b) analyze, conceptualize, write, and produce high quality and effective electronic media productions that promote the respect and dignity of human beings
- Demonstrate successful integration of undergraduate studies through the completion of a graduate—quality research, scriptwriting, or seminar project.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the Catholic Church’s teaching on media and the role of Christians in the media.
