Biology Environmental Concentration, Bachelor of Science
Students interested in environmental or ecological work upon graduation should complete this concentration. In addition, students interested in pursuing graduate studies in organismal biology, marine biology and related fields would be best served by this concentration. Upper-level biology courses stress hands-on work in a variety of field settings.

Ecology/Environmental Concentration Course Requirements
Electives are to be chosen with the guidance of the student's department advisor.
*Upper level BIO electives include any 200 level or above BIO course with the exceptions of BIO 203, BIO 204, BIO 215 and BIO 217.
Organismal and Evolution Electives: Students will select two (2) courses from BIO 230, BIO 235, BIO 237, BIO 301, BIO 312,or BIO 321.
EDU majors may substitute CSC 155 for CSC 141.
Quantitative Measures: Students will select one course from ECO 212, MTH 204, MTH 401 or PSY 204.
