Overview

To effectively meet increased expectations and help their organizations compete in this complex, uncertain world, BA Professionals will need to:

  • Learn new technology and how to apply emerging technologies in decision making business models
  • Learn product management and process management including developing skills that support improvement in operational processes and customer experience challenges
  • Learn and adopt agile approaches to business solutions to deliver value in shorter time increments that can be tested with customers

Students who would be interested in this certificate include those who are detail-oriented and enjoy working with data. This group includes:

  • Current Ensign College Accounting students (combined with an Accounting Certificate)
  • Transfer students - this certificate is designed as a stackable component to an Associate of Science Degree
  • Non-traditional students seeking specific skills to allow them to progress in their current jobs

It was best described in a discussion with an industry expert when he said, “Data is the new currency.” The ability to analyze a business and extract relevant information from the incredible quantity of data being gathered is becoming a necessary skill. It touches every phase of business.
